If they propose a concept - like Tufte's 'encoding' idea in the book "Visual Explanations" – easy to track down examples and elaborations in tweet form

Ha, I know - not used to reading contemporary authors where it’s even a possibility to tweet-search their expanded thoughts.
Really wish I could read the twitter feeds of Thomas Kuhn, Erving Goffman, and Marshall McLuhan. Would be priceless.
Oooh, that is a really good tweet prompt – 'which authors do you most wish had Twitter accounts'!
