I tested the site on chrome & Firefox on desktop, and chrome & Safari on iOS. But none rescaled for me.
Sadly different browsers always behave differently and requires testing on all of them. Its a pain

Thanks for all these points. Can you point me to a theme which is not focused around images and lots of functions but simple basic blog posts with primarily text? The ones in your link were quite image heavy I think.

Apologies but I know very little about Wordpress and can’t over any better advice than google can.
I think what we’re all realising is that a Wordpress theme is perhaps overcomplicating the problem. Plain semantic HTML and CSS are the best tools for this job.

I know said they might have bandwidth to help? Honestly flat HTML & CSS on GitHub pages will do the trick.

Just want to make sure you still have ownership and feel comfortable being able to edit it . Are you familiar with HTML, CSS, and GitHub?
If not, finding a responsive Wordpress theme is probably a simpler option.

Did you change anything ? I check again on Chrome, Firefox, and Safari, and the issue is gone 🎉.
Text is not reflowing as it should, instead of scaling like an image.

I don't think I did. I went through the options and maybe that somehow reset something?

Weird mine still isn’t on chrome and Firefox macOS. I cleared cache too but no luck.

The project looks amazing and would love to help set up a simpler Wordpress-theme-free solution (feels fitting for the project ethos too).
