I'm watching "Explaining React through Visual Metaphors" talk from #WomenInReact. It's fantastic - whether you work with React or not, you should check it out. One of the best talks I've seen in a long, long while. youtu.be/K8MF3aDg-bM?t=

The presentation is great. Unfortunately, it is not always accurate - especially the JSX part.

You might want to watch the talk and notice the bit where I point out that the point of metaphor is not pedantic accuracy ๐

I'm not referring to any metaphor but to actual content. There is also a difference between being just inaccurate for simplicity and being wrong / misleading.

Iโve no doubt you know a lot more about JSX than I do!
I definitely do not claim to be a JSX expert (or any kind of expert, lol)
Genuinely would love to hear what specific part of the JSX section was wrong. Always looking to improve the metaphor and never want to mislead people
Sure thing! Well, I think Twitter is the wrong medium for details.
Regarding JSX in general I made a short video to highlight some of the differences and why it has not much to do with HTML (except angle brackets).

Again, in general great presentation!
