For anyone looks for a super simple and easy to use diagramming tool just to map out basic programming concepts, check out miro.com Free, won't overwhelm you with features, and does the trick. It's 101 functionality, but a good starting point to build off later

Warning this video is a shallow feature demo, and does't talk about *how* to visually think (that extensive video workshop is in progress πŸ˜‰) Miro is a suggestion for those who find Adobe Illustrator, Sketch, Figma, etc. overwhelming when they only need to map a basic concept

Box and arrow diagram are the foundation of more complex metaphors. Laying out spatial relationship between elements (above, below, beside, near, far) how they connect and relate to one another is always the core of whatever you are explaining.

This is great, thank you! I've been using @WhimsicalPowers (it's great, and it's paid). This looks like a really decent free alternative I can suggest to folks and play around with myself, too
