While I do appreciate 's functionality and what it brings to the table, I'm really hoping it'll get a design overhaul in the near future.
In the meantime, I'm tweaking it myself to make it look the way I like it

Always. Anything in particular you're interested in? Or are you referring specifically to the styles

I was mostly referring to the styles. Eg what does your CSS look like and what extension do you use to replace it?
I just started with Roam a few weeks ago, so def interested in any organizing principles as well

So as for styles, I actually took 's theme that I found here dev.to/theianjones/cu and then started tweaking from there. I think Maggy's theme is a really good start.
Once I'm done I'll put mine under version control as well for reuse.
