What are your thoughts on how people relate to metaphorically illustrated concepts in different ways as a result of varied cultural backdrops?

Can you point or link to any examples of specific metaphors you’ve encountered that are culturally specific and don’t map well across cultural contexts? Always useful to explain through example
The best one I can point out here is the metaphor of time in different cultures & how it is visualised.
Western cultures tend to view time as three circles while their Eastern counterparts frequently visualise it as one circle.

Another such example is the metaphor of American Football. Although, readily perceivable for the United States, this reference doesn't scale well in others to describe modern businesses and their complexities.
