So many good #CozyWeb and #DigitalGardening theories and chats floating around lately
I illustrated myself a map of the current web landscape based off 's original thesis - breakingsmart.substack.com/p/the-extended
Combined with 's "Dark Forest" - onezero.medium.com/the-dark-fores

This is more a picture of the current state of things, rather than the ideal.
Really want there to be a layer in between personal digital gardens / newsletters and communal CozyWeb communities that weaves together ownership and collaborative creation.

We've got a good series of chatter threads around this going on:
twitter.com/chrisbiscardi/
Up and coming tools like @onegraphio look like good fertilizer to try and grow some of these seeds in.
Linking up nodes in personal gardens grown in / Next.js into shared spaces

I think that wikis have a serious ownership problem that leads to only people who ignore that sort of thing making edits.

but I've always kinda liked the idea of publishing ideas immediately somewhere on a personal site..even if unfinished and update/polish them over time. Very much like the Bliki (a merge of a blog / wiki)

Did it on Sunday while listening to a podcast on the Dark Forest theory.
I think it was around 15 mins to sketch it out / plan the layout, and then +40-50m to make it look decent (eg. detailing on the plants and trees)
