Found a way to do templating in #roamcult with any good clipboard manager (I use ) – just set up your structure, copy it to a permanent clipboard, and link up a hotkey.
Here's mine for books, but have varieties for articles, academic papers, etc.

It would be even better if there were a way to update all Pages to the latest template

True! The template inevitably evolves over time and you end up with a few inconsistencies in older notes. Auto updating the way page titles do would be 🔥
But can also already imagine a number of design and implantation complexities that would make it shockingly hard...

👍 +1 keyboard maestro and roam is such a dream team.
I’ve now got it hooked up to a macro that runs when I open the laptop in the AM - loads up roam and pastes in daily notes template
