Good illustration on many levels. BTW, was that "PDF expert", or "export"? 😅

PDF expert - it's a wonderful app for iOS that makes highlighting a joy 😄

Does Notion have a list view (or similar) of all the highlights from PDFs? Sounds interesting.

Unfortunately no - I highlight in PDF Expert on the iPad, then export only the highlights to a .txt file (feature baked into PDF expert), then copy and paste that text into Notion. Sounds a bit cumbersome but overall takes 10 seconds.

It feels possible to automatically do that. Maybe some PDF processing tool could be used for extracting the notes from PDF files and push the output to Notion API? Clearly possible, if PDF Expert tool stores those to the files itself in a standard way.

Yeah once Notion release their API they’ll be a ton of ways to automate importing all these different mediums. Only manual for the moment ;) 🤞it’ll only be a few more months.
