Here's a fun exercise. Calculate the cost per day of your computer in it's life so far. Mine's clocking in at $1.97 which sounds like a ridiculous bargain!
Lesson learned: Never again complain about the price of macbooks.

Good point! But how are you calculating that into the average? Never before considered the amount of β‘οΈ this thing uses up as a % of electrical bills. Assumed it would be minor though?

I bought a device which can measure it. For older computers it was around $10 per month.

Oh wow β would have never guessed it can run that high. Always fascinating to find tangible links in the relationship between electrical cost and digital life. Never really think about button-clicking, swiping, and scrolling as using up electricity.
