Does anyone know if it's possible to change my preferences to make 's default colour sliders HSB instead of RGB?
Having to manually change it Every. Single. Time. Has driven me crazy for years and eventually figured it couldn't hurt to ask...

Glad I'm not the only one! Best imperfect solution I found is creating action scripts hooked up to keyboard shortcuts. So at least the switch only takes a keystroke. (Actions here if you want 'em: bit.ly/2Mj8cwn)

I need this too, HSB for life! There isnβt one. I once asked if they could add a HEX field to the HSB panel for easy copy & pasting. They suggested I post it as a suggestion at their forum but I couldnβt be arsedβ¦

I need this badly
Preach! I do mention that and a few other pet peeves every time I take an Adobe illustrator survey.

BUT of course the scripts don't work if you're inside the gradient editor (because why would it... π). Only works on the main colour palette.

Hi Maggie,
Please take out a moment and submit this as a feature request here: illustrator.uservoice.com
It's the best way to communicate directly with the product engineering team and you also get notified if there's an update in your thread.
