You have to understand, we legitimately put work into getting that checkmark, as it's a part of getting 100k subscribers. Tons of YouTubers are getting that wiped from them for no reason, and I've only had it for a few months.

despite the fact that you avoided my question, i can totally understand people like you that work hard to reach such a high number in subs. but the verified check doesn't pay the bills, so i don't see the problem here

The problem is that checkmark is both a milestone marker AND a checkmark to avoid impersonators from going on other's videos and spamming fake giveaways and shit!
