What is ManyDogs 1? It's a multi-lab study investigating how dogs respond to different types of human pointing gestures. We have designed a single protocol for labs around the world to implement with their local dog populations. Interested in joining? Here's a quick overview!

Contributor Sign-Up for ManyDogs 1.
Step 1: Read the ManyDogs Manual and Study 1 Protocol.
Step 2: Prep information about your site, including ethics status, a floor plan of your testing space, and information about the stimuli you'll be using.
Step 3: Register your lab through the online Contributor Survey (see the Manual) and upload your documents.
Step 4: Join our communication network
Step 5: Train your research team on the protocol and send in experimenter practice videos for feedback and standardization.
Step 6: Start collecting data!
