Creator features like live streams, custom URLs, scheduled uploads (and many others!) are not going away with the YouTube Partner Program update. Smaller channels can still grow and be discovered–monetization doesn't impact how videos appear in search or how they're promoted/recommended across YouTube. Also creator features and tools like cards and end screens, custom thumbnails, live streaming, etc are all still available
everything you guys do lately is targeted at us smaller youtubers, it is obvious that the youtube team is trying to take the “you” out of youtube... the internet is touchy, remember myspace? askjeeves? or more reciently vine? why add youtube to the list of dead/dying sites
