    I don't understand how AWS continues to be so successful when core tasks are this byzantine. Clearly there's no incentive for them to fix this, or they would have. Maybe it's like how MySpace profile customization (CSS) gave people a sense of fulfillment and kept them invested?

    DNS on AWS: - deploy an API Gateway - add CloudFront distribution - register domain on Route53 - create a cert in Certificate Manager in us-east-1 - verify the cert by adding CNAME records to Route53 - add cert and domain to CloudFront distribution - add ALIAS to Route53

    This is alarming and still not covered by major media worldwide. We are actively destroying our planet and this is just one such outcome. Thoughts and prayers for everyone who is in and around these fires.

    I want to give some perspective for people not from Australia. More Aussie land is currently burning than exists in the entire country of Belgium. The smoke is causing breathing problems in New Zealand, 2,000km away. Half a billion animals have been killed. Eight people are dead.
