    The 1st step towards combating hate and violence is to finally adopt stricter laws on removing terrorist content online. Individuals & social-media should be made responsible for their roles. I call on all political groups to end the 2-year deadlock. 3/3

    Our societies are under constant attack by extremists who spread hate and violence via social media onto the screens of younger generations. We have driven anti-terror laws in Europe since 09/11. We will continue to do so with more energy than ever. 2/3

    Die ständig neuen Eskalationen durch Präsident Erdogan müssen ein Ende haben. Alle Sanktionsmöglichkeiten liegen für die EU auf dem Tisch. Dazu gehören eine mögliche Aussetzung der Zollunion und auch Sanktionen gegen Einzelpersonen.
