If you really want to wind up the local plod contact Robert Lizar solicitors, they are based just down the road in Moss Side, and have long history of dealings with MCC and the local police. They specialise in human rights law.

I’m currently a fee paying postgraduate student at your uni. Not personally affected by this but I do find your treatment of undergraduates is of a standard less than expected. Up your game or we all walk (with our fees)
