This is where people feel compelled to say “i wouldn’t change it for the world!” But you know... Of course I’d reconsider! It’s exhausting! Its banal! It’s like looking after a dog you can’t housetrain. What it is, is that it is. & they are mine. Hopefully they turn out ok.

Kids are amazing though and just saying you also can afford a Nannie or help so at least you and your wife can get a lie in or go out for dinner. We don’t all have the money and space for that

-
We haven’t had dinner together once in nine months, & we have gone out alone together once, for two hours.

I have 2 also - 3.5 years and 9 months. It’s relentless, exhausting, challenging, stressful - absolutely. But they make me smile and laugh and fill my heart with joy EVERY DAY. It’s a privilege to me. Maybe I’m lucky - I do love it.

That’s nice.

I had three babies in three years
that was my superpower lol & just when I thought I was done, my uterus said, “not yet” & here’s baby #4. Imagine 3 toddlers & a newborn baby. I developed post-partum depression after the 4th. -
Holy— that’s a lot of momming! All the respect!
