Why is it that the creator in question was allowed to monetize his slap-in-the-face of an apology video, but I'll have to sell my soul to see a single cent?

My channel is new and has a relatively small fanbase, I get that. But it's not fair that I'm going to pour my all into my art for that small fanbase and still get punished because of someone else's actions.

And this is me, a straight white male, talking. What I'm going through here pales in comparison to the censorship of minorities, especially the LGBT+ community, that occurs on your site every day. Surely you can see how that's objectively wrong, right?

So, to boil this all down: What will it take, YouTube, for you to gove the creators who put their art, their stories, their very selves on your platform the basic respect and chance to succeed that they deserve?
