Is it worth picking up for a newbie for the series? Or with diving in to OG Persona 5?

If you can dive into Persona 5 first (especially the Royal version) I 100% recommend doing that first if you can. Strikers is great, and I'm sure it will be awesome fun even if you haven't played P5. But it does spoil some P5 events and is a JRPG masterpiece :3
