On today's @SANSInstitute webcast on CVE-2020-0601, someone asked how long it would be before a public PoC was available. I said something to the effect of "hopefully weeks" and likely around Shmoocon or RSAC.

I think I also said something to the effect of "bold predictions are bold." I intentionally avoided talking about it, but was indeed handling questions from the audience via @johullrich - once he teed it up, I was on the spot.
I REALLY wish this wasn't out there already...
It only takes one exploit to mess it up for everybody :(. You somehow still had too much believe in the good of humanity left in you. They fixed that now for you.
With Bluekeep, I figured we'd have a weaponized version in days, but the community showed restraint. I based my assessment on that. Unfortunately the pattern didn't hold.
