Searched twitter for ngöndro to see what Dave might have written about it and came across this thread. And I believe that draft was finished & published a month ago!

Yup, that’s the post I alluded to 1,389 days ago! Although the draft version had a lot more boring historical details. Also, in those days I was hedging assertions more, because I was more concerned about what traditionalists would think.
