If there's three groups whose social troubles are largely ignored by mainstream society, they would have to be animals, poor workers and young men.
Well animals have tons of organizations like the SPCA which is granted authority to confiscate people's pets by the state. But yeah, young men and poor workers, there is nothing.

I suppose I was thinking more specifically of farm animals, which constantly have their rights violated severely in the animal agriculture industries; practically no one cares about this in any meaningful way.

And you definitely have a point about pet animals having some influential organisations. However, even pet animals constantly have their rights violated, often by the same organisations that are supposed to be fighting for them.
