      I’m a fan of your writing and a supporter of Israel but I think you exaggerate this. Cutting the tips of baby penises is an archaic and cruel tradition that should be ended in all modern societies

      We asked our pediatrician about circumcision. He was very much in favor and noted definite health benefits. In the end, it was our decision, and we chose to have this for our infant son. It is not like genital mutilation that is done on girls in some parts of the world.

      Thanks for the info. I am looking up some of his articles. He appears to approach this from an ethical point of view, which I see, although our pediatrician looked at it medically.

      There is no such thing as medicine without ethics and human rights. Physical integrity is both in human rights law AND the Hippocratic oath.
