Every man I know is circumcised & happy for it, science shows enormous health benefits of male circumcision & zero risks when done safely so that point is moot. Also - modern society supports late term abortion but calls male circumcision barbaric? Seriously?https://twitter.com/averageyogurt/status/1179743277014274049 …

I’m not saying an adult man shouldn’t be allowed a circumcision, I’m saying doing it to babies is archaic and unnecessary. Science shows some limited benefits for adult men but also risks for babies. I agree that late term abortions are problematic and a difficult subject.

No, if done under proper supervision there are no health risks for babies. The risks appear once you outlaw ancient practices and people starts to go underground and perform this in secret. Same thing that happened with abortions, by the way

So female circumcision should be allowed too? It's all just varying degrees of genital mutilation None of it has anything to do with hygiene, it started as an effort by the ultra religious to make it harder for boys to masturbate without pain & damaged skin

I really don't think you understand how either male masturbation or circumcision work. I had it done when I was 12, took less than a month to be fully recovered and couldn't be more thankful.

Tip of penis is supposed to stay covered except when aroused - when not covered tip becomes dry, more calloused, & less sensitive. Masturbating is more likely to result in dry & damaged skin With soap there's no more risk of infection than w a clit hood Thankful for what?

What part of I have a circumcision do you not understand? I speak from experience, from a lifelong healthy sex life with no history of pain or any kind of discomfort. Believe what you want but don't tell me what I have to be thankful for.

I don't dispute that the majority of circumcisions happens without any complications. Like yours, hurrah! However, not all circumcisions are successful, and some boys end up with lifelong complications. How many failed circumcisions should we accept in tribute to old tradition?

The ischemic necrosis death of part of the penis is deliberate harm in 100% of circumcisions.
