If you're being driven to uni, I'd overpack. Then get to uni, assess the situation, and you can always send stuff back home w the parentals

I say pack light. Good excuse for a shopping day in London :-)

Don’t pack too much clothing. You’ll end up reinventing your wardrobe. Or doing what I did and just buying loads of uni-branded gear

Definitely best to over pack. You'll need most of the stuff you take! Also, let your parents take all the pics they want lol

Your dorm is going to be your home for awhile. Make sure to make every space in it comfortable for you, even if it means over packing a bit.

You will want warm feet, fingerless gloves for the RadCam or Bod, a hollybolly, & an extra duvet, IME. Your own kettle, two mugs, fave hot drink. Vitamins. A map. (Cornmarket is N-S, basically.)

I think overpack! Better to have and not need than need and not have. Also, chances are your room will look emptier than you think!

I say over pack because you don't have to buy as much and you can always downsize as time goes on

I say underpack. It teaches one to live with only the essentials :)
