I met this sad reality a while ago with the Waris Dirie model from Somalia. I admire the struggle of these women very much and I am glad to know that there are more women, like Boge Gebre, seeking better living conditions for these women.
Boge was a scientist, a leader in the campaign against female genital mutilation and a hero for women. I was honored to meet her in Ethiopia this year & share my gratitude for her work.
