I turned 21 today in #Brazil. So happy to spend my birthday in this beautiful country with amazing girls. Want to meet some of my new friends?pic.twitter.com/OFRRyQ9kCR

We had a lot of fun playing football with girls on the beach. I didn’t know my dad @ZiauddinY was such a good goal keeper!pic.twitter.com/Q3YszmpLSC

Malala Fund is investing around $700,000 in education activists in Brazil. We want to help them ensure that every girl in this country gets 12 years of free, safe, quality education.
I am so grateful I could share this amazing experience with my friends @ElaineWelteroth, @ElJuanpaZurita and @jeromejarre. Each of us was inspired by the girls we met and the stories we heard.pic.twitter.com/Xa5scj1GNu
I have one wish on my birthday: to show these girls that they don't have to fight alone. You can help girls in Brazil and around the world by making a gift to @MalalaFund:http://mala.la/malala21bday
Would have looked better if you'd been attired as the other girls.
So you want a non-ballet dancer to wear a tutu because Malala's head scarf offends you??? How would her wearing a tutu make more sense than the clothes she choose herself?
What beautiful little girls (inside and out). So glad to hear they are succeeding under such difficult circumstances.
