Also, the far right doesn’t have the same cultural clout & media assets as the far left. Hence why im less worried. When it comes to message framing, the left, especially on social issues, has the upper hand. Economic coverage and FA is generally pretty corporate/centrist.

"The right wing doesn't have the same kind of cultural clout, they just have the biggest news network and 90% of talk radio and are nearly always the ones dictating the framing of an issue in actual reality"

Talk radio is only popular with one segment of the population: 50+ age low mid-standard mid class working class white men. Fox is the largest because it’s the only mainstream right wing outlet. If you combined all the assets/viewers of center left outlets, theyd be bigger.

And yet talk radio's right wing framing that "the left controls the framing of political issues" has been the dominant framing of the subject for 30 years...

Because it’s true. you need to be employing the highest levels of cognitive dissonance to somehow think that there isn’t a left leaning bias, especially on social issues, in media. When was the last time there was a conservative hosting a late night show on primetime television?

Of course there is left leaning media bias. There is also right leaning media bias. Especially on social issues. Maybe you didn't notice all the right wing biases expressed in media regarding gay rights in the past 15 years, but *I* certainly did.

Name one? It’s been considered toxic and publicity suicide to be anything other than pro-LGBT marriage for the last 10 years. Also, I would argue that being pro-LGBT is not exclusively “left”. Most libertarians are pretty keen on that stuff. What other social issues?

Are you fucking kidding me? You're fucking kidding me right? Do you think EVERYWHERE is San Francisco? Gay marriage has only been allowed in my state for 4 years, and it still didn't have majority support statewide then. Do you know what the debate was 10 years ago???

The LGBT debate we were having exactly 10 years ago? We were demanding better anti-bullying laws in school because a load of kids had been driven to suicide or outright murdered by classmates. The other side was shrieking "You're persecuting Christian students!"

Oh, there was ANOTHER LGBT debate in 2009, as well. Specifically, the Democrats wanted a federal law against hate crimes, which had not passed the last six times. The Republicans fervently opposed it, including one lawmaker declaring that Matthew Shepard's murder was a hoax
