They were all betrayed by Fisher, who rejected the truth and embraced the devil. He denied the divinity of Bayes, and attacked Wald.

Fisher and the ̶p̶h̶ar̶i̶s̶e̶e̶s̶ frequentists took over the temple of statistics, and defiled it with false gods and null hypotheses.

But Savage and Jaynes destroyed the idolatries of NHST, chased the frequentists from the temple, and redeemed us with subjective Bayes.

Of course, some still cling to the idolatrous ad-hoc null-hypothesis methods that our lord in his infinite wisdom assigns arbitrarily low probability to.

Others reject those idols, but still accept heresies like insufficient reason or objective Bayes. We subjectively but with informative priors update to find posteriors that assign low probability to their salvation.
