@MakerOfDecision but instances of false beliefs have positions in the territory, eg I can get true P/N in tests for false P/Ns @FrameOfStack

@276039081 @FrameOfStack Yes, that's why I'd prefer to discuss justified/unjustified beliefs. Some uj beliefs are true, as are all j beliefs

@FrameOfStack @276039081 All justified beliefs are based on evidence that corresponds to the territory - that's what justified means.

@MakerOfDecision @276039081 you're suggesting that supports your original claim? I'm just saying, not all justified beliefs are true!

@FrameOfStack @MakerOfDecision but they do contain/encode information regarding (the distinction b/w) true (and false) beliefs

@FrameOfStack @MakerOfDecision if in the 'real world' ((of) territory) truth is more broadly always truth of a msg/signal than a proposition

@FrameOfStack @MakerOfDecision then it appears the only justifying context for your objection is the contingently prior binary structure

@FrameOfStack @MakerOfDecision *contingently-prior more importantly than -binary, b/c that structure is itself also in (a)/(super-)territory

@276039081 @FrameOfStack I definitely did not follow that right now. Tired. Also, I might need you to suggest background reading as prep.

@MakerOfDecision @FrameOfStack you can also try mixing it up with Laruelle - though I'd suggest starting with Brassier's thesis on his work
