    Slick travel for Thurs morning commute. Take caution on bridges, overpasses, and untreated or secondary roads. Highest amounts will be around the Penobscot/Bangor region, but much of northern and eastern Maine will see light accumulations. Snow tapers mid-late afternoon.

    After two Maine State Police cruisers were rear-ended in the breakdown lane, enforcement of this law will be increased.  Since 2007 Maine has required motorists, by law, to move over and switch lanes upon seeing emergency lights.
