This is a farewell message to my followers in Turkey. Love it or loathe it, I always believed in what I wrote and will continue to do so.

Last month, Twitter also blocked my another Twitter account, @MahirZeynalov_, in which I was tweeting only in Turkish. Thank you @Support !

I am one of more than a hundred Turkish journalists whose verified accounts are withheld as part of Ankara's relentless censorship campaign.

Why is @Twitter cooperating with manifest oppression in Turkey? See, as an example the case of the journalist @MahirZeynalov

who said that journalist can be terrorist but no one can say anything because he is a journalist.

The truth is simple. @MahirZeynalov is not a terrorist. He does not shoot, bomb, imprison innocent people (unlike Erdogan)

Every one of Turkey's neighbours & everyone in Europe & in America knows that the AK party is corrupt, violent & oppressive.

mr walle, these people are member of the organization who behind the coup attempt. They are journalists, soldiers, judges ...

doctors, teachers... all kind of state employees you can imagine. They tried to establish kind of inner state. This is new.

I see a country with mass imprisonment of journalist and with many fellow academics being fired for being critical.

i really hope that one day you can understand that it is not about criticism. You should read opposite journalism in turkey
