    Haven’t been in Mauritius for almost 2 years. Even during COVID-lockdown they kept on building and improving the country. In SA the opposite is happening. I find it hard to explain the KZN riots to average Mauritians…

    Local asset managers are scrambling to tie up with offshore partners. Stanlib has done a deal with JPMorgan, while Denker will sell Janus Henderson Funds in SA. It’s become a case of offshore or die. There has been virtually no growth in local assets for almost 8 years now.
