This system needs to change. Unlike strikes and terminations, there is no appeal system in place for this new channel demonetization. More importantly, there is no strikes system for it, and the channels affected get no explanation on why it happened and which videos caused it.

The guidelines are vague and badly enforced. A lot of channels have been wrongly kicked out of the YPP, but only the few bigger channels that can get attention on Twitter get reinstated as they should, while all the other smaller channels remain permanently demonetized,

as getting accepted through the partner review system seems to be even more strict when the channel has already been kicked or denied in the past. Not to mention that it takes months to even be reviewed once. Overall it's just a mess and way too strict.
