My past three assignments have taken me to Austin, Atlanta & now Allen, TX. Near Austin, a man shot 2 cheerleaders. In Atlanta, a gunman killed 1 and wounded 4 at a hospital. At an Allen mall, a gunman killed 8 people and leaves 7 wounded. I hate wondering where I’ll go next.

Been talking to those on the ground near the Richmond, Indiana fire. People 6+ miles away are finding ash/debris in their yards. One debris sample tested positive for asbestos & residents worry about if it's also cancer causing.

No. Our talented camera man, as we all do, briefly removes his from time to time to drink coffee (a necessity for morning live shots). And officials recommended masks (wearing an N94, not cloth). Staying back far enough that we can’t smell/feel it. Appreciate the questions.

Replying to @Maggie_Vespa and @TODAYshow
Is the mask for show? I notice your cameraman isn't wearing one. Also, if you're concerned about air quality surely you'd be using a respirator and not a cloth mask.
