Plasma update: I have a donation appointment on June 21, which was the earliest appointment available anywhere in Manhattan. I'm posting this because if it's on Twitter, I can't chicken out.

Gotta be honest, June 21 felt a long way off when I made the plasma donation appointment, but now that it's less than 48 hours away, I am fully in "jesus christ what the hell was I thinking" mode

This is not at all the same thing, but i gave regular blood on Wednesday, and it felt super weird to be inside a building and talking to other people and interacting, but it also felt really ... normal? Comforting? Professionally handled?
