I've been on hold with customer service for an hour and a half and I've already tried the usually infallible tricks of making lunch, going to the bathroom, and having a meeting to get someone to pick up. Any other ideas?

I usually just plug the phone into a charger, put it on speakerphone, hit mute, and pretend I sent an email

Oh for sure, that's what I've been doing. I've been working the whole time I've been on hold. I would just, you know, like to get the issue resolved!
