My husband is STILL coughing. Not terribly, nothing like before, but the cough is still there. I still can't smell or taste. And here's the thing: The lingering symptoms vary day to day. There are days I feel completely fine and days I'm so exhausted I fall into bed at 5:01pm. 4/

Since I tweeted a month ago about having covid, I've gotten a steady stream of emails from people who also have, or whose loved ones have, "mild"-but-not-actually-mild cases. They're so stressed and worn-down and anxious about the nonlinear recovery. I am too. 5/
