I'd like to see on the front page of the New York Times, and every other publication and newscast, a daily counter with the data: number of Covid tests performed, number of positive tests, number of deaths. I was frightened by the NYT's quotes from Trump supporters re "feelings"
I think we can stop saying "out of an abundance of caution," people. Confirmed infections are skyrocketing. We are in the middle of a national emergency. We are not in "abundance of caution" territory anymore.
