Buttigieg is just... giving his prepared victory speech as though the results weren't nonexistent.

Or he's giving a speech to rally his supporters on a night where it is seeming like he did better than expected. Let him, you know, do what they all have been doing. Just a thought.
This is very different from the speeches the other candidates gave. The other candidates made a "yeah, we don't have results, but we're very confident!" argument. He is literally declaring victory.

I disagree. (with all respect, love you 99% of the time). The candidates pumped their crowds. Biden was way more "get excited"ish than he should've been with the results. Besides the app, Pete is the storyline coming out of tonight. At least it's not Howard Dean.

They did pump up their crowds, absolutely. But compare Buttigieg ("undeniable reality," "going on to NH victorious") to: Klob: "punching above our weight" Bernie: "a good feeling we're going to be doing very very well" Biden: "going to walk out of here w/ our share of delegates"
