In 20 mins at LaGuardia I've heard—alternating every couple minutes—4 "we're investigating the cause of an alarm" announcements and 3 "investigation complete, it was a false alarm" announcements, and I can't decide if there have been multiple alarms or if LGA is THAT incompetent
Meanwhile, because I lost my driver's license at LGA more than two months ago and am a normal, well-adjusted person, I'm sitting at my gate checking my wallet every 10 mins to make sure it hasn't spontaneously disappeared, and will 100% continue to do so until takeoff in 1.5 hrs
