The premise of the question is that it's POSSIBLE to ensure a teenager is a virgin. Short of locking them in their room, it literally isn't. You can urge them not to have sex, you can teach them about the risks and consequences of sex, but you cannot make them not have sex.

Talk to them, educate them, but it is physically impossible to confirm virginity and functionally impossible to guarantee it. It cannot be done. You cannot do it.

I understand that. And I'm no advocate for sexual purity. I just wonder how people handle their children having sex short of creepy privacy invasions. We can probably all agree the longer they wait, the better their decision-making.

Sure, but the answer is talk to them openly, educate them, and try as best you can to guide them toward good choices. You can't ensure a particular choice, and if you try too hard or are controlling, you breed resentment and often rebellion. Hence my original answer: You don't.
