We have 6,000 poll workers signed up for November 3, and are at capacity. We can't accept any more applications at this time. We will soon be sending out assignments to those who've already signed up. Typically, we have 3,000 poll workers for a Nov election. #MadisonVotes2020

You guys know that there are WI statutes that allow you to 'nominate' people from your party to serve as poll workers, right? That you have the power to ensure some of the workers "are from the Trump campaign"?

Be aware that there are state laws restricting where you can work polls and what work you can perform. Still, they can technically be tabulators, which might help with the number of absentee ballots this year. https://elections.wi.gov/elections-voting/voters/become-a-poll-worker …

The restriction on county residency was lifted by a federal judge and I don't think it has been suspended in appeals court.

Me? No. Wi statutes allow political parties to 'nominate' people who will serve as poll workers while 'representing' that party. At the end of night when poll workers are signing forms, etc, there are separate spaces where the 'affiliated' workers sign.
