No, but when members of my family wouldn't help support me through college, they were there for me emotionally and if I needed it, financially. Every family vacation for the past 5 years they paid for everything for me even if I protested. All that and more is enough to relate.

I can relate, my fiancé's family is exactly the name, the past weekend they organised my baby shower, non of my family showed up and his entire family was there to support me. It's just really such a special thing to be accepted not only by your partner but also their family
