Either this won't amount to much so they're not very worried, or it's going to get bad and they're not going to have enough resources for more than the very sick. If this turns out to be like Italy, it's the latter they're planning for and this is the best they can come up with?

There is no containing this virus, though slowing the spread is important. Individuals need to take all precautions, but the best thing we can do is increase healthcare system readiness - more staff, beds, equipment and meds.

3% of Sacramento's population is 15k ppl. The hospitals would be overwhelmed, not enough beds, vents, or staff! Ppl of all ages with asthma, heart conditions, diabetes, cancer, will need supportive care to survive. Slowing the rate is the only way to mitigate
