      An accidental leak of the virus from a lab studying the virus was reported by reputable news outlets worldwide. Seems less likely to be conspiracy, does it not? There are those stretching facts further to imply intentional weaponization: that still seems like conspiracy.

          No. They reported (with somewhat sensational headlines) that some anonymous memo claimed some lab worked took sick days for unspecified illness. Some less than reputable outlets repeated a nonsense claim that a repeated 3-nucleotide sequence was omg scary.
