      @Macworld Yes! 2012 Mac mini base model, HDMI to a nice new Dell display. Goes black for 3-4 sec, 1-2 times/day. Not heat. Maybe HDCP?

      @Macworld Yes, it seems like the video is washed out using hdmi. Not so much if I use display port adapter. This is third mm in a week.

      @Macworld yes, flickering and/or snow when using HDMI->DVI adapter with Dell monitor. Doesn't happen with TB->DVI adapter. Returned it :-(

      @Macworld yep...just started today...it happens for 4 or 5 seconds...all I see is snow...and then it comes back normally...very annoying

      @Macworld I dont have a 2012 mac mini, but have a 2011 mac mini and have many problems with the HDMI output... cant use it, hav 2 use vga :(

      @Macworld my Mini has been fine. I have the i7 model. I’ve connected it to two different models, one with HDMI the other with the adapter.

      @Macworld Yes. Running dual HP ZR2440w displays. 2 issues: 1) HDMI makes for bad color. DVI fixes. 2) Woke to weird fuzzy screen. Only 1x.

      @Macworld My Brand New mini has this problem! Black/snowy screens several times a day (connected to TV via HDMI) Hope it's a software issue
