gonna make sure the next game I make is intentionally not y2k compliant better set your clock back to 1999 if you want to use it. PS it requires a 3DFX card and has a maximum OS requirement of windows 98, and it'll crash if you have more than 256mb of ram

... a rabbit hole until I found s1 on dial-up Internet crazy enough to make a 3dfx.dll (I guess, long time ago) thing which dynamically remaps all 3DFX calls to DirectX (or it might have been OpenGL at the time, I forget). It ran like shit, but oh man my mind was blown

Was it any different from other releases of that gex title?

I always assumed there must have been a general <software> rendered title for PC? I mean the other disc I got was Destruction Derby 2 which was 3DGX enabled and looked way better than its "normal" counterpart.
