Why do videocall applications like teams and zoom not have a tool in which all participants download the (pdf) slides shared by the speaker, and when the speaker changes slide every local computers does so as well. In stead of streaming a video. Ofc if you don't need a pointer.
I think Skype can do this with PPTX files. Also helps that the viewers can skip ahead ;)

Apparently teams had this function as well. Well then it's a question why people don't use this ;) And they should add a pointer function, since sharing coordinates isn't really data consuming.
